“You don’t often find a whole café inspired by a 1930s radio hoax. But that’s exactly the place that fills Grover’s Mill Coffeehouse, where mugs and decor are dedicated to the panicked 1938 War of the Worlds radio adaptation led by Orson Welles,” Read the review. “Away from Kitsch, you’ll also find some great beans that are hard to find here, like Dominican Red Honey coffee, along with a menu that includes unusual options like chili, wild rice soup, and venison espresso soup.”
The owners responded to the news on Facebook, thanking their sponsors and “all the aliens in the universe.”
West Windsor Township joined the party and congratulated the owners in a Facebook post. And they said, “We always knew you were special. Now the rest of the country does too.”
The Martian themed café is family owned and has been in operation since 2005. They sell a variety of coffees including CBD coffee, and a blend of Guatemala, Ethiopia, Sumatra and Peru.
